Very pleased to learn that another of my photographs has been published in 'Outdoor Photography' magazine in the 'One Thing This Month - Patterns in Nature' section. This was an image of the amazing rock formations on the island of Staffa, part of the Inner Hebrides, and created many millions of years ago as a result of volcanic activity. Lots of hexagonal basalt columns create wonderful patterns. This is also the home of Fingal's Cave, where Mendelssohn was inspired to compose his Hebrides Overture owing to the wonderful acoustic qualities of the cave.
