RPS Landscape Group Exhib
Managed to get to Bristol yesterday to catch the Royal Photographic Society Landscape Group's travelling outdoor exhibition which is currently being displayed at the Clifton Suspension Bridge and is due to finish on 26th June. It opened in Edinburgh last year, then moved to York for four weeks and prior to Bristol it was outside the entrance to Southwark Cathedral in London. Am pleased to say that one of my images is included "Sunset from Port Appin". There are 61 images on 22 panels, a run of almost 24 metres. All images can be viewed on the RPS website: https://rps.org/Landscape-EXPO22/

Pleased to get my image (bottom right) published in "Outdoor Photography" magazine in the latest edition. It was taken a few years ago now during a January holiday to Wester Ross, northern Scotland. The Bealach na Ba (cattle pass) on the Applecross peninsula is one of the most dramatic (and dangerous) roads on the UK mainland with hairpins and steep climbs up to 2053 ft but with fantastic views (on a clear day) across to the Isle of Skye and Raasay.
JWP RPS Travelling Exhib
Following on from displays in Edinburgh and York in 2022, the travelling exhibition of the RPS Landscape Group has now moved to London where it is available to view outside Southwark Cathedral. It finishes on Tuesday 31st January, so you better get your skates on if you want to see it! Otherwise all images can be viewed online by going to: https://rps.org/Landscape-EXPO22/
I am pleased that my photograph "Sunset from Port Appin" has been included in the Royal Photographic Society's Landscape Group Members' Outdoor Exhibition 2022. This exhibition has recently completed a four week run at St Andrews Parade in Edinburgh and has now moved on to Dame Judi Dench Walk, York (on the Riverside adjacent to Museum Gardens) from 26th June - 10th July. The exhibition comprises of 60 prints on 22 panels: a run of almost 24 metres of landscape images. All the images can be seen online by visiting: https://rps.org/Landscape-EXPO22/
Sunset from Port AppinSunset captured looking across from Port Appin, Argyll to the mountains on the Morvern peninsula. I positioned the four trees so they stood out against the hazy mountains in the distance.
Scottish Botanical - Growing Wild - Cotton Grass, Isle of Lewis
Natural Abstract - Aros Falls, Isle of Mull
Scottish Landscape - The Land - Follow the Light, Loch Ba, Isle of Mull

I am delighted to learn that I have had images shortlisted in four separate categories of the Scottish Nature Photography Awards for 2021 which have just been announced.
