Evesham Country Park - Autumn Craft & Gift Fair - 27/28 September 2014

September 24, 2014  •  Leave a Comment

I shall be exhibiting this weekend (Saturday & Sunday) 27th & 28th September 2014 at Evesham Country Park for their 2nd Autumn Craft and Gift Fair.  I will have a large selection of mounted photographs from my "Jayne Winter Photography" range and also a good selection from our "Images of Worcestershire" range, along with greetings cards.

There are going to be over 70 stalls showcasing a range of wares from jewellery to knits, woodcrafts and paintings, soaps and ceramics  to fashions, photography and cushions.

There will be plenty of opportunities for refreshments at the restaurants on site, along with the opportunity to visit the courtyard shops, farm shop and of course the extensive garden centre.

Why not pop along and start that all important Christmas shopping!!  There is plenty of free parking available.

Evesham Country Park is at the northern end of the Evesham bypass (A44), at the junction with the Stratford Road (A46).  From here follow the brown tourist signs.

Bruges in September

Just spent four days in Bruges with my daughter.  What a super city, such wonderful architecture and a lovely atmosphere.  Also spent a day visiting Mount Sorrel (Hill 62) and the preserved trenches near Ypres along with the Menin Gate and Tyne Cot Cemetery near Passendale. So glad to have had the opportunity to experience these memorials, a very moving but enjoyable day.   Lots of photographs taken during the four days, here is just one taken in Bruges itself.

Kilve, North Somerset

Spent a great day on the beach at Kilve in north Somerset with friends from Worcestershire Camera Club.  Morning was spent taking slow shutter speeds of the waves breaking on the rocks and also trying out some multiple exposures which was great fun.  Later doing more intimate work using the macro lens concentrating on the rocks and strata patterns along the cliff face.  Great for abstract pictures.

Pembrokeshire

Just back from three days down in West Pembrokeshire.  Took a boat trip across to the island of Skomer where we spent five hours in the hot sun walking and photographing the puffins (who are still there amazingly as they have normally left for the Atlantic by now). A very memorable day.
